With flashlights in hand, several who were sitting on a large platform in the middle of the stage disappeared and in a matter of seconds, reappeared on the upper balcony in the back of the theater, flashlights waving brightly. An experienced magician or illusionist might hit on the trick of such feats with a little thought, but Copperfield's show provides as much entertainment as wonderment.
