Burt, native Utahn and a graduate of the University of Utah, has 'been awarded a Sloan Fellowship for participation participa-tion in the executive development develop-ment program at the Massachusetts Massachu-setts Institute of Technology at Boston, Mass. He is one of 36 young business executives in the country to receive re-ceive the honor. They will begin their one-year program at MIT in June. Mr. Burt, office engineer, operations, op-erations, at the New York office of Kennecott Copper Corporation is a son of Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Burt of Brigham City. A graduate gradu-ate of Box Elder High School, was graduated from the U. of U. in 1943, and in 1956 received a professional degree of mining engineering from the same institution. in-stitution. Prior to accepting the position in New York, Mr. Burt was employed em-ployed by Kennecott in operations opera-tions in Utah and Nevada and by the Braden Copper Co., Kennecott Kenne-cott subsidiary, in Chile.
