Show LARK NEWS Pat Dalley Phone 901J1 Lark MIA had a sports night for open night Tuesday evening, May 21st, at the Lark wardhouse. Games were played,, some or which were dodge ball, ping pong, surprise ball, etc. All the eirls participated. Afterwards light refreshments were served. Mrs. Nick Fenton has been guest of Mrs. L. W. Early of Denver, Colo. She left on May 10th and returned home Tuesday Tues-day May 21. l Major and Mrs. Chet Krieger of Logan were guests of Mr. and Mrs. James N. Dalley and family fam-ily over the week end. A wonderful won-derful visit was enjoyed by all. Miss JoAnn Sayatovic of Bingham Bing-ham was guest of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gressmen Friday, May 17. Mr. and Mrs. David Neilsen of Mona were guests of Mrs. Je3sie Neilsen and family Wednesday, May 22. They returned home yesterday (Thursday). Miss Natalie Reed, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Reed, was overnight guest Tuesday of last week of Jessie Sanchez of Cop-perfield. Cop-perfield. Engagement Told Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Peterson announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Nancy Peterson, Pe-terson, to Roger Kelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Kelson of Magna. No wedding date has been set by the couple. Lark Ward Relief Society held its literature meeting Tuesday. The lesson was given by Mrs. Lottie Dalley. It was on Julius Caesar. Next week the Relief 'Society will hold a breakfast for all the members, honoring the visiting teachers. Afterwards they will work on various handicraft handi-craft for their bazaar. Miss Beth Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Lewis of Castle Fort, Idaho, is visiting with Leila Randall. She arrived Monday and will be staying for an indefinite time. Miss Judy Alexander, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Glayde Alexander Alex-ander of Midvale, was week end guest of Sally Gillam. Frank Bullock, 50, immediate past president of the Midvale Kiwanis club and former resident resi-dent of Lark, died Sunday, May 19, at 1:00 a.m. at his home in Midvale after a lingering illness. Mr. Bullock was active in-' the mining industry in Utah and Nevada, Ne-vada, residing in Lark for many years before moving to Midvale in 1946. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon (Thurs day) in Midvale iFourth Ward LDS chapel at Midvale at 2:00 o'clock. Burial was in Midvale City Cemetery. |
