Mrs Sorensen, the former Gertrude Luclla McDonald, a daughter of William 'Wcs,tly and Lueinda Maria Emmcrson McDonald, was born Oct. 30, 1880 at Grove Lake. Minn. The family came to Utah when Gertrude was 4 years of age and settled in Ogden, and her faher taught school at Iluntsville for several years. Mr & Mrs Soren.sen have been active workers in the LDS church serving in the variouus auxiliary organ zations. Mr Sorensen fulfilled a mission to Mr & Mrs Christian S. Sorensen, 8189 South 100 East, Sandy observed their 65th wedding anniversary Sunday, May 10 at their home, ; They have watched with interest the many changes which have taken place in their span of years and the many modern, conveniences enjoyed today, compared with the early Ine of the Sorensens.
