Show THE MURRAY EAGLE FOR SAFER DRIVING The Murray Aerie wants to uci Thursday, March 18 th AIUliiiuaiiuii By 'Pat and 'Patsy' Eagle Once again it is nearing the time for the Aerie to hold its nomination of officers and every member is reminded that this important meeting will be held on Thursday night, March 25. With the exception of two trustees, every office will be open for nominations. However, you must be present to make your recomenda-tion- s and nominations for this election. Elections will follow the nominations and will be held on the following Thursday, April 1, 1954. It is the duty of every member to participate in this important meeting and everyone is urged to come out and support his candidate. Don't forget, March 25, nomination of officers. NEW RITUALISTIC TEAM The Aerie's new Ritualistic team took over the initiation of four new members last Thursday night and it was a pleasure to observe their fine work. Floyd Gunnerson as president, Bill Peters as past president, Boone Colegrove as vice president, Ern Wright as chaplian and Bryant Beeney as conductor comprise the new team and although some of them are very familiar in this work,, each man is handling a new office and they really did an outstanding job. Rex Jones, Jack Timpson, Bill Dumas and Garry O'Brian were the members who were initiated and we want to extend our congratulations to these new members, and to bid them welcome to Murray Aerie No. 1760. A ex- tend congratulations to the officers of the Golden Rule club, and believe along with thousands of other citizens of the state, that this program has been responsible for he reduction of traffic accidents this year. A large percentage of the Aerie are already members of the club and will continue to cooperate in an effort to save uncounted lives and reduce accidents. Barney accidentally broke his ankle while wheeling cement a few days ago, and believe me, that is hard work and we know that it must hurt. We want Barney to know that we were sorry to hear the news and sincerely hope that he won't be on the sick list too long. Mel Morris seems to have thrown off an ill efects of his recent illness and we are glad to report Mel is back on the job. Bill Graham was reported laid up with a bad leg, and we hope that he will soon be out and around. And it was also good to hear that Bert Woods is once again feeling fine, and looking foreward to coming down to meeting soon.
