Utah Sunday Schedule 10 a. m. Sundav School and Bible Class a. m. 11 Worship Hour "The Importance of Confirmation" will be the theme of the sermon at Christ Lutheran church on Sunday at 11 a. m Rev. John F. Hermit;, pastor of the congregation, will preach the sermon and will officiate at the reception of new members, who will be received into communicant membership of the church through the rite of confirmation. The new members will receive their first communion in this service. The Sunday school and Bible class will meet at 10 a. m. Vacation Bible school will be conducted at Christ Lutheran church for another week. Approximately 60 children are now enrolled. A staff of 10 volunteer teachers from the congregation are instructing the children in Bible stories, handicraft, visual aids, and singing. Vacation Bible school activities will be brought to a close with a special children's service on Sunday, August Michael Plattner, Sunday: school pupil and member of Christ Lutheran church, suffered a fractured arm while horseback riding at Grand Junction, Colo., last Sunday. He was brought to Salt Lake City last Tuesday and taken to Holy Cross hospital, where he underwent surgery last Thursday. Rev. Hennig will occupy the pulpit again Sunday at the St. John's Lutheran church in Salt Lake City, while Rev. R. E. Sehulz is-vacation. Revr Hennig was at the S. L. pulpit last Sunday. Rev. Hennig recommends to all Murray residents the program to be presented at the St. John's Lutheran church, 1030 So. 5th East, in Salt Lake City, Sunday at 8:15 p.m. The program will feature the Lutheran chorus of Sheboygan, Wis., "A Choir With a Message," and Dr. Rechlin, or ganist of New York. The choir, which has made more than 500 appearances in the United States and Canada, is directed by Martin J. Bangert. The public is invited. There will be no admission charge, but voluntary contribu tions will be accepted, Rev.
