Westover entertained at their home Thursday evening for the Country Cousins club. Table decorations were in the spring theme. Assisting Mrs. Jensen in entertaining were Mrs. Jens Nielson, mother of the bride, and her daughters. Miss Nielson became the bride of James Gardner last Friday and the couple will make their home in Provo. Visit in Murray Mr. and Mrs. C. II. Bateman and daughter, Marietta, of Price spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Bateman. A family dinner was given in their honor, seven- teen members being present. Celebrates Birthday Mrss. Willard R. Larsen entertained Monday afternoon, celebrating the fourth birthday anniversary of her small son, Gordon. WARD Murray First Ward Mrs. Fern Martin, president of the Relief Society, wishes to announce a social and apron sale for Tuesday, April 29. Murray Second Hard The M.I.A. will hold its closing Mutual program next Tuesday evening, including a social, dancing and refreshments. Grant Ward Elders of the ward will entertain at a social at the church Friday evening. Mr. Ansell Pratt is president of the group and is being assisted by Mr. Hofhine and Mr. Earl Wixom. A buffet luncheon will be served, followed by games and dancing. Cottonwood stake "M" Men are planning a banquet Saturday evening at 7:30 in Grant ward. Next Wednesday evening Grant ward is holding the closing Mutual program, which includes a travelogue. South Cottonwood Ward There will be no Relief Society meeting next Tuesday, but on the following Friday, beginning at 10 a.m., the Relief Society will sponsor a home institute. There will be a cake contest featuring fudge, butter, angel food and sponge cakes. All entries must be in by 11:30 a.m. A 25 cent luncheon will be served at 1 p.m. Daughters of Pioneers will have a drawing on their quilt at this institute. A three-ac- t play will be given as the closing program for Mutual Tuesday evening in South Cottonwood ward. Taylorsville Ward Taylorsville Ward Mutual will hold its closing social next Tuesday evening. Bennion Ward Last Tuesday was mothers and daughters day in Relief Society. Leave on Honeymoon Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McCloy left Wednesday evening for a honeymoon trip to California following their marriage in Memorial House in Memory Grove.
