The Lt. Gen. Leo Marquez awards, named in honor of retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Leo Marquez, recognizes maintenance operations in the categories of Aircraft, MunitionsMissile and B Essay contest The Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Utah's third annual essay contest follows the theme "Aviation's Centennial and Tomorrow." The contest is open to all junior high school students in southern Idaho, western Wyoming and Utah. Essays are limited to 1,000 words and must be typewritten. Each essay must include the name of the student and school, teacher, school address, school telephone number and student's grade. The top four essays receive a cash award. Essays are due at the museum by the end of March and awards will be made during May.
