Local teachers nominated for inclusion in Who's Who A select group of America's teachers is being honored by their toughest critics... their former students, in the fifth edition of "Who's Who Among America's Teachers, 1998." All of the approximately 130,000 teachers being honored were selected by former stu- dents who themselves are currently listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students or The National Dean's List. Students were asked to nominate teachers who "made a difference" by helping to shape their values, inspiring interest in a particular subject or challenging them to strive for excellence. Many of the students commented about the enthusiasm and knowledge their teachers demonstrated in the classroom, and many praised their teachers for their ability to relate to youngsters on a personal as well as a professional level. Local educators honored by inclusion in the book included: Lehi High School Sandra T. Barney, John W. Broad-heaJudi E. Bulkley, Peter LEdmond-son- , Brenda T. Peterson and Reva Beth L. Russell. And then amid cheers and laughter from the students, Martin leaned over and planted a kiss firmly on the snout of each pink porker.
