Craft store plans grand opening A new craft store, Some Bunny Loves You, has opened at 290 S. 100 East in Pleasant Grove. The shop will be open Tuesday through Refreshments will be served and everyone is invited to stop in and get acquainted. The owners are Yvonne Homer, Valoy Bowers and Gayle Jackson. It was interesting the way the women decided to open the store. Both Yvonne in Oklahoma and Valoy in Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The store will hold its grand opening Thursday, Oct. 22, all day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Turner card of thanks Until we can thank all of our friends and family personally, may we take this means of extending our deep appreciation for the many kindnesses fhown in our recent sorrow at the death of Lois Barnes Turner. Many of the items in the store are the creative works of the owners, but they also have a few other talented crafters on consignment. They will have holiday decorations, florals, candles, and much more. Valoy and her husband, Robert, have a booth at Quilted Bear in Midvale where they sell unfinished pine shelves, quilt racks and shadow boxes. They have been there since it opened 10 years ago. They have these same items The SportsmanLions Club of Pleasant Grove will present a concealed weapons class onNov. 5 from 6 to 10 p.m. at 610 E. Center, Pleasant Grove. This four to class will first require you to pass a test on gun safety. You will then be fingerprinted, photographed and then your application will be notarized. This will all be completed before leaving the building. The complete cost for the class will be $35. Reservations must be in before Nov. 1. Both male and female applicants over the age of 21 will be accepted. There will be a $5 refund for all applications received before Oct. five-ho- We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to our neighbors, friends and family, who gave us comfort with their expressions of sympathy and service, following the death of Ann McDade. We are grateful for those who called at our home, or who brought in food. To the Lehi 20th, 8th and 19th Ward Relief Societies who cared for the flowers and provided a beautiful luncheon, words cannot express at the new Pleasant Grove store. They also have tole painted wood. Yvonne was involved in Wishing Hollow for many years and she does needlepoint, counted crosstitch and makes bunnies and unique hand sewn items. Gayle is a scrapbook fancier and she will provide all kinds of scrapbook suppplies at the store.
