This is an unusual position for the perennially strong Pioneer eleven, but the season will tell. Payson is picked to finish seventh in their 4A region. Lehi Coach Brett Bergholm said, "Snow Canyon had already played a game. They knew what to do under game conditions. We had a lot of rust to work out. "We made some adjustments in the second half, and came back strong in the final minutes of the game. Overall, it was a tied game. The shot on which they scored their goal was a fluke." The second half opened with the Eagles coming out more tough on offense than they were in the first period.
