The east phase consists of reconstructing significant portions of the roadway and also making safety improvements including widening shoulders and reconstructing substandard horizontal vertical and curves to meet AASHTO standards. The improvements will be made along Drive Hills Woodland between the intersection of US Highway 6 and the intersection of 11200 South and Drive. Hills Woodland Portions of the improvements will be on new alignment to lengthen the existing substandard Curves and construct a new curve at the intersection of Woodland Hills Drive and 11200 South. The intersection of US 6 and Woodland Hills Drive will also be modified to provide turn lanes from US 6 onto Hills Drive. The Woodland total length of this phase is approximately 6525 meters. The west phase consists reconstructing the roadway between the intersection of US 6 and 1700 West and the intersection of 11200 South and 1600 West. The pavement reconand widening struction along 16001700 West will, as much as possible, be generally along the opposite side of the roadway from the predominate development (i.e. housesorchard).
