(Jasper Dennis) Scott, age 57, died at his home in Granada Hills, Calif., of heart failure Aug. 26, 1994. He was born Jan. 18, 1937 at Mayhill, New t the Mexico, fourth child of Ira and Mary Rice Scott. The family moved to American Fork in 1948 where J.D. graduated from American Fork High School with a scholarship in art to BYU. After graduating from BYU he was drafted into the army for two years. Upon receiving his discharge, he married his college sweetheart, Nancy Ann Leverenz, June 21, 1961. They have two daughters who were the light of his life. He was an excellent artist and made his life's work in his business, J. Design, Inc. He designed many hotel restaurants and interiors in Salt Lake City, Provo, Montana, Wyoming, Hawaii and Cali- - fornia. Elda Gillman Walker, 85, passed away Aug. 28, 1994. She was born Oct. 13, 1908 in Lindon to James He is survived by his wife of the family home, his daughters, Cynthia and husband Rodney Ziebel, Granada Hills, Calif.; Jennifer and fiancee, Gregg Gawthorpe, of Camario, Calif.; his parents, Ira and Mary Scott, Hinckley, Utah; four sisters and two brothers, Onealia Millar, Lindon; Martha Seigman, Hobbs, N. Mex.; Marilyn (Jim) Morgan, Horse Creek, Calif.; Barbara (Glen) Taylor, Hinckley, Utah; Thomas (Jeanine) Scott, Las Cruces, N. Mex.; Jesse (Dorothy) Scott, Orem, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and un- William and Estella Walker Gillman. She married Frank K. Walker Nov. 17, 1930. The Floy Marshall Reeves, 96, Pleas- Pleasant Grove. She was born Jan. 7, 1898 in Bible Grove, HI., Elda was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She held many ward and stake positions. She worked in the Provo Temple. She worked for the Alpine School District. Elda liked to stay busy either in her home or outside in her beautiful yard. She enjoyed and loved her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She is survived bv one daughter e rk i' ,i - i n g Marshall. She married Riley Reeves. Cheever Winslow Smith Cheever, 85, passed away Sun day, Aug. 20, 1994 in Oxnard, Calif. He was born Sept. 6, 1908 in Provo to Joseph Edwin and Grace Libby Smith Cheever.
