She was born Sept 27, 1897 in American Fork to Hans and Sarah Spratley its organizations, including president of the MIA and Relief Society. She was a Gold Star Mother, an officer ofthe American Legion Auxiliary, a charter member of the Mothers Study Club and Mother of the Year for Utah County. She was also a member and officer of many civic organizations. She is survived by five (Betty) Harvey, Jonathan Hans (J.H.) (Helen) Harvey, Kenneth (Betty Mae) Harvey, all of American Fork; David (Dixie) Glen Losee Durrant, 74, died April 9, 1994peacefullyathishome in American Fork. He was born June 3, 1919 in American Fork tm, 3 to Clyde Edward and Grace Losee Durrant. He married Lois Kathleen West Feb. 1, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nev. during World Harvey, Pleasant Grove; 28 grandchildren; 64 She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Richard, and a brother, Marion Christensen. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13, at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove 5th Ward Chapel, 455 E. 200 South. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a veteran of World War' II and served with the field artillery for five years. He was a valiant soldier in the 3rd Army under General Patton, participating in the major battles that liberated France and Germany. At the time of his death, he was actively employed by the American Bureau of Ship- - " sons:-Eugen- Christensen. She married Leo P. Harvey of jt Pleasant Grove Oct. 3, 1917. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for time and all eternity. Mr. Harvey died Jan. 1, 1986. : She attended Harrington Elementary School, American Fork High School and Brigham Young University. Arvilla touched many lives as she rendered years of service to her family, her church and her community.
