It was the top of inning five before LHS managed their first run and in the last inning they made a real effort as they scored three, but three was not enough. First baseman Mike Gray said, "We are not playing with the intensity nor the aggressiveness that we were playing before region. We just can.t let the opposing team get a lead and then play catch up." Lehi, who's strength has been their hitting, managed only five hits in this contest. Mike Schneider had two, Curtis Jacobsen, Mike Gray ( a double ) and Matt Felix each had one.
