Recently, American Fork Hopsital honored 49 employees at j?nual service awards banquet held last week at the Excelsior Hotel in Provo. Woodcox Erma Hunter Woodcox, 85, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1993 in Pleasant Grove. She was born Sept. 5, 1908 in American Fork to Joseph Franklin and Josephine NicoleneLarsen Hunter. married She Roy Fabian Woodcox Jtry h - - V on May 12, 1937 t and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake IDS Temple. She was a lifelong resident of American Fork and active member of the American Fork 9th Ward. She is survived by four sons and a daughter: Ronald Roy Woodcox, American Fork; Larry K. Woodcox, Pleasant Grove; Franklin Harry Woodcox, Washington; David Glen Woodcox and Marilyn W. Nuttall, both of Lehi; 27 grandchildren; 26 abrother, Don L. Hunter; and sisters, Alice H. Daly, Norma H. Riska, and her twin sister, Emma H. Privett. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 18, in the American Fork 9th Ward. Burial was in the American Fork Cemetery under the direction of Anderson & Sons n; Homer Thomas Duncan Homer Thomas Duncan, 92, died Oct. 13, 1993 in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He was born April 26, 1901 in Castle Gate, If Utah, to Homer and Horace J Charlotte (Lottie) Cheshire He Duncan., married Fawn McDonald on June 30, 1921 in CastleDale.The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He1 was a High Priest in the Perron 3rd Ward. He and his of 72 years served three at the Manti LDS missions temple Temple before his health limited his activity. com-pani- Homer was a prominent farmer 'and cattleman and lived his entire life in Castle Valley. A long-tim- e resident of Ferron, he was honored to ride in the Peach Day Parade as Grand Marshall in his late eighties. Homer was a pioneer who of- fered his time and equipment to build roads, canals and reservoirs for local residents to enjoy today. He is survived by his wife, Fawn, of Ferron; four daughters: Mrs. Don (Laverna) Petersen; Mrs. Delyle (Loretta) Larsen, Cleveland, Utah; Mrs. Ina Williams, Ferron; Mrs. Ellis (Carolyn) Allred, Pleasant Grove; 19 grandchildren; 72 greatgrandchildren; three two brothers: Clyde and Van; three sisters: Doris, Erma and Ellen. He was preceded in death by a son, Homer Dean Duncan, killed in World War II; five brothers, two sisters and his parents. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 16, in the Ferron 3rd Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Ferron City Cemetery. The Family of Beatrice Fox Hall David Ford West, 79, Pleasant Grove, died Oct. 19, 1993 at his home. He was born July 17, 1914 in Deeth, Nev. to Vivian Nathaniel and Mary Jane Adamson West. He married Maxine Doyle Feb. 8, 1937 in Pleasant Grove. The marriage was later solem nized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had been employed at the Utah State Road Commission, the U.S. Forest Service, and later retired from Geneva Steel in 1978.
