Our kind, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Ellis Nile Sorenson, 61, passed away in the Utah Valley Medical Center on Aug. 6, 1993 in Provo. He was born Aug. 11, 1931 in Lehi to Ellis M. Anna and W i m 1 a Sorenson. He married Lou NarramoreMay 9, 1952. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake IDS Temple on June 22, 1961. Nile worked as an engineer on the railroad at Geneva Steel for 36 years. He was in the High Priest Group leadership in the Lehi 5th Ward at the time of his death. He dearly loved the members of this ward which he had been in all ofhis life. He will be deeply missed by his surviving family, his beloved wife, Lou; two sons, Dennis and wife, Neva; and Guy and wife, Vicki, all of Lehi; and his five grandchildren: Levi, Cally, Tyler, Riley and Halee, who were the delight of their grandfather; also his sisters, Geralee Glathar and Kathrin Cook, both of Lehi; and a brother, Von W. Sorenson, Cedar Fort. He was preceded in death by his father in 1990 and his mother just six months ago. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 10, in the Lehi Stake Center. Burial was in the Lehi City Cemetery. She was born February 28, 1918 in Salt Lake to Daniel William and Alice Luretta Nielsen Brewer. She married Ronal S. Bills in American Fork. He died April 14, 1964. She was a volunteer at the Utah State Hospital andamemberofthe Springville Ladies Bowling Association. She had a special love for children and they all loved her in 13 m. mmmms |
