Show " Yards of the Week... - For the first time in years, Lehi has a pretty large colorguard. The colorguard has been workingreally hard on routines that they used in past parades. The girls meet bright and early at 7 a.m. at Lehi High School. They practice their routines until about 9 a.m. Some days they even schedule afternoon practices. The girls are very devoted to what they are doing. Along with the Lehi Parade, they also participated in other parades at American Fork, Spanish Fork, Bluffdale, Clearfield, Provo, Saratoga, and Ogden. The songs that the band and colorguard have to choose from are "Marching to Pretoria" and "Coronado." Right now their focus is to put together a field show for night on Aug. 21. If you are interested in participating in the fall and winter guard marching program, it is not too late. There will be information posted in the Junior High and High School, so look for that. The colorguard section leaders will be looking for people who will be dedicated and who will work hard. The program is not just about hard work.
