He also served a four year term as the mayor of Lehi. He is an active member of the LDS Church and has held many positions, including bishop and second counselor in the Provo Temple. He and Ila served a mission together in the Atlanta, Georgia Temple. They are currently workers in the Provo Temple. i A good looking baby boy was born Aug. 10 in the American Fork Hospital to Woody and Laurie Jo Berry. The husky little newcomer tipped the scales at a muscular eight pounds one ounce and stretched the tape to 21 and a half inches tall. His family and neighbors enjoy the benefits of these talents. Ila grew up in Lehi and is also a graduate of BYU. While at the "Y" she served as studentbody vice president and has since been a member of the BYU Alumni Association Board. She taught school at Spanish Fork High School prior to her marriage and was a substitute teacher in the Alpine School District. Ila has held various positions in the church, including assistant temple matron and member of the stake Relief Society presidency. She is an excellent cook and quilter and enjoys her grandchildren. They are the parents of six children: Stephen, Lehi; Judith Or em; Launa Reese, HighBurn-ingha- land; Connie Allen, Vineyard; Lane, Pleasant Grove; and Shauna Peterson, Coalville. named Weston.
