The Pioneers' defense was not effective against Hansen's heroics, and their offense couldn't muster the punch to take the ball in for a score. Hansen scored on 37 and 38 yard field goals and gave Dixie a 13 point lead in the second quarter when he passed for a touchdown. The PAT was good. Dixie hit paydirt again in the last quarter when Hansen ran three one-ma- yards to give the Flyers a 20-- score. He added the point after the 0 touchdown. Lehi's offense got things going and managed to move the ball well in the middle of the field, but couldn't generate the punch to hit paydirt.
