The group will hold a putting contest and ask each women to bring her putter and a ball. A meeting will follow where the officers fo the coming year will be introduced. They ill explain the agenda and outline for the summer program. Membership fees may be paid at this time. V i Local students among scholarship winners from American Students Fork, Pleasant Grove, and Lehi High Schools are among those chosen by wmmm the Utah Federation of Womens Clubs to receive Hugh O'Brien Foundation leadership Youth scholarships. Janilyn Patch of Pleasant Grove, Kimberly Mecham of American Fork, and Micah William Merrill of Lehi will attend an expense paid three day workshop June 13 and 14 at the Quality Inn in Salt Lake City. The three, all sophomores, were selected for their achievements and their outstanding leadership potential, according to club directors. The workshops will focus on the Let Us Float You A Loan theme "America's Incentive System," according to Florence Valgardson, FWC president. Micah Merrill, the HOBY representative from Lehi, is an honor student at Lehi High School and is especially interested in drama and debate. An Academic he has performed in high school productions including "The Sound of Music," "Annie Get Your Gun," "Cheaper by the Dozen," and "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers." He has also been involved in debate for two years, winning a number of awards and qualifying for state competition both years. Micah has played the saxphone in the marching band for three years, is a Life Scout, active in his church, and loves art and skiing. He is the son of A.
