Show Specialists For All Your Insurance AutoHomeLife Business Computerized Quotes of the Volunteer Members at the American Fork Auxiliary Hospital were honored last week by hospital officiate for the dedicated service they render to the medical . facility. Special recognition was given to Nona Bingham for having served with the auxiliary since it's beginning 25 years ago and to Ruth Meranda and Margaret Faddis for 24 years service. Hospital officials noted the auxiliary was first organized 25 years ago, in 1961, with Mrs. Bingham, Pleasant Grove, named it's first president the next year. Craig Smedley, hospital administrator, paid tribute to the women and men who serve in the auxiliary, donating their time to aid the staff and make the stay of patients pleasanter. "You help us with both your energy and efforts as you single handedly push the big carts around, push the wheelchairs to take patients to various departments, and do the many other things required of you. "You generate good feelings among all with your cheerful spirits. True happiness is in giving service to others and you are a good example to all," he said. Smedley said there were over 17,000 volunteer hours given to the hospital in 1985 by Volunteer and 8,000 Auxiliary members, Candystriper hours. "You give your help when and where it is needed. You have helped with the "We Care" program - and your help must be working because we haven't been getting a lot of calls" complaining about service. It was noted that American Fork Hospital has been in existence for 49 years, with the Volunteer Auxiliary organized for 25 of that. Malcolm H. Beck, hospital board chairman, said he has attended Volunteer Auxiliary functions for the past 14 years and considers it one of the highlights of his rHUies. - 756-964- 3 PUBLIC NOTICES 11 years; Lucille Wootton, Vesta Wickwire, Ila Milne, Beth Manning, Dixie Carroll, NOTICE IS HEREBY 10 years.
