All former bowlers and friends are invited from Jujy 31st to August 15th (except August 3rd and 5th) at 7:30 fun p.m. each night. Come join bowling in mixed doubles tournaments or just socialize with old friends. For more information call Jack and Jill, Marge, or Jack Doye, The Jack and Jill Lanes were purchased and opened in April of 1967 by John and Pat Keysor of Salt Lake City and in September of 1957 the first league began. The lanes were chartered in 1958. The name Jack and Jill was named after their two daughters, Jackie and Jill Keysor. ' ' In 1958, Jack Wadley started working for the Keysors, and later managed the lanes. John and Pat purchased the Junction Lanes in Midvale which they still own. A highlight was when in June of 1963, Joe Joseph the bowling pro visited the clinic lanes, and had a three-da- y there. Jack Wadley and his wife, the former Bonnie Taylor of Lehi, purchased the lanes from the Keysors in 1973. They are the current proprietors. in-th- 768-944- 5, 756-466- 1, 756-372- 5. Also of interest Tom Nissalke the former Jazz Coach made an impressive showing winning his first two matchs before losing his to third round match in a Strong. Randy In the womens open division the states number one ranked lady Anita Torti of Salt Lake City won the $50 first place prize money with Susan Terry of American Fork taking er , second. The tournament was very successful with over ISO separate entries. The tournament ran 4 nights with the finals on Saturday.
