BICYCLE RACE WINNERS- - Ken Hermey, left, Provo, won first place in the bicycle race held last Saturday in connection with the Lehi Roundup, Al Metcalf, provo, placed second, followed by Darrell Harding of American Fork. Each received a trophy from Steve Carlton, chairman. A total of eight entered the race. le THE LEHI POOL proved to be a popular place during Roundup Days. Ml jr A's Lead Broncos In Lehi Baseball .5 The "A's" are leading the Bronco League of Boys Baseball in Lehi. They will be league champs as they have already won enough games to qualify them for the title. The program calls for a schedule. This is basically what happens when the firemen meet to play water polo. The object, of course, is to get the basketball out of the other team's court - but in the process, everyone has to get wet. And the result is hilarious for on lookers. If you don't believe it, plan now to attend the American Fork Steel Days' Firemen Water Polo matches at 6:30 p.m. at the City Ball Park, 260 South 200 East - just before the evening Variety Show. There will be four teams -American Fork, Alpine, Lehi and Pleasant Grove. Each team will play two games - and the winner will go away with the traveling trcphv. American Fork is in possession of the trophy now and plans to keep it although that isn't what the other teams believe will happen. There will be a trophy for all teams - not just the & ( boys big one. A team consists of five men, explains fire officials, two nozzlemen, two assistant nozzlemen and one hoseman. Each game is limited to ten minutes of play with the team with the most points winning. If there is no score, the teams will play a sudden death play off and the team with the first point wins. Each team member wears long pants, firemen boots, coat and helmet.
