April 9. 1981 - Page A-- 8 lehi Stfudon to Win Stfoie Award Lehi High FFA members were winners of FFa awards at the necessary repairs to keep the equipment in operation Lloyd Arnold won the StateSwine Award. This award is sponsored by the Pfizer Company through the Foundation. Lloyd works every spare hour on their hog farm. He has exhibited his animals at every show in Utah and at the Cow Palace. They use the latest practices and recent State Convention held al BYU. Wade Fox was first place winner in Farm Meclianics. He received a plaque and a check for $100 fnmi the FFA Foundation. Corey has a grade point average of 3.64 for four years and had been active in Chapter and school activities, including football and basketball. Ross Ford, Russell Gurney and Lloyd Arnold were awarded the Gold Key of the Slate Farmer Degree at the con vent ion. This award is sponsored by - farm. and kept records for nearly four years. Each has been an officer in the Chapter and active in all Chapter sponsored programs. They contributed money to have new shelves built at the Lehi Senior Citizens Center to provide storage for books in a reading room. The money was raised last summer at a bake sale.
