Library Week Successful "All of the events scheduled at the Lehi Carnegie Library last week were well attended and very successful," said Mrs. Janeen -- Watkins, librarian. She said that each day held "something special" for patrons and friends of the library. Highlight of the week was the formation of a "Friends of the Library" group. Those interested in becoming a part of this organization are invited to a meeting on We- dnesday, April 30, Queen-O-De- o Scheduled For May 17 With the change in the weather, spring seems to be here. It's time to think about outdoor activities and at the top of the list is to the annual Queen-o-deselect the royalty that will reign over the 1980 Lehi Roundup. Saturday, May 17, is the date to circle and all potential contestants for the title of Miss Lehi Roundup are invited to enter the contest. An important part of the contest, the judge's tea, will start at 6 p.m. in the Lehi Riding Club Clubhouse. Girls should wear formal suits and be prepared for speaking, modeling and knowledge of rodeo questions. The horsemanship phase of the contest will start at 7:30 p.m. in the rodeo arena. Contestants should be 16 years of age, married or single. If selected to reign in the royalty, girls should plan for a busy schedule of appointments with surrounding city officials and various other to advertise the Lehi Roundup and the community celebration. Along with the queen contest, there will be other events for competition. Further details may be obtained from the queen committee, Stan and Peggy Lewis, George and Shirley Tripp, or Molvin and Dona An derson. o beginning at 6 p.m. at the library. This group will assist the librarian and library board with many functions sponsored by the library. It is a statewide organization and the list of voluntary helps they can offer is long. Alan Peet To Attend Dental School Peet has been accepted into the Alan of Regional Dental Program. In cooperation with the University of Utah, his dental studies during the first and fourth years will be in Salt Lake City. Alan was accepted into dental school after only three years of undergraduate study at Utah State University. He is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta University National Honor Fraternity and a member and historian of Alpha Delta Epsilor) Premedical and Dental Honorary Fraternity.
