I refuse to accept any irresponsible excuse that they have been lost or misplaced, because I find it hard to believe your paper would lose pictures of an important event. The reason we asked you to come over to our school was not only to advertise about our program, but mainly because we wanted a "professional" to take pictures that we might be able to get copies of. Many parents keep asking me about them. It is also my first year of teaching and I wrote for the the script program. So you can begin to understand why the pictures are so important to me. I have always felt that the two times my third grade class had pictures in the paper that they were dark, blurry, and of poor amateur quality. Since our program I have seen many clear and good pictures of other school programs being advertised. I can't help feeling cheated and d and it's bothered me so much that I've finally written this letter. Another time I had my students write to Khomeini and hostages and many were quite cute. I asked to have them published in your paper only to find out you had "other" plans and ended up doing a stupid story on Christmas presents which my kids didn't want to do. I think something more than an apology is in order and I expect to see those pictures this week! You can't really blame me for feeling the way I do. Next time maybe I'd better call on the Daily Herald if our own local paper can't do a good job on such an easy VI 1lkf ehiDrug gs and DKIVE-I- N DRY-CLEANI- NG '! short-change- DRAPERY CENTER 61 north cierchct street anerlcan lork 756-690- DRAPES 2 Lined $1.75 3 Ft Panel Unlined $1.50 3 Ft. If, for example, the average teacher's salary was $10,000 two years ago, a 20 percent increase brings the average salary up to only $12,000.
