ADOPTED BY THE CVRR POA BOARD OF DIRECTORS, JUNE 3, 1998. DEER HUNT COMMITTEE FORMED There has been growing concern about the coming Deer Hunt in October. A committee has been formed to better prepare the Town for the growing number of hunters that use Castle Valley as their place of harvest. A buffer zone will be posted around the Town along with better patrolling by the D1vision of Wildlife Resources. The Town Council is working an a Hunting Ordinance that will not only better protect the community, but also be reasonable to the hunters themselves. If you have any input, concerns, or suggestions please write to the Hunting Committee, C/O HC 64 Box 2211, Castle Valley, Utah 84532. This year’s general rifle Deer Hunt is from October 17th to 25th. (The many other hunting periods do not represent as much danger to Castle Valley residents as the general rifle hunt.) - 5 |
