Show THANKFUL TIMES - NOVEMBER 1993 - 9 — Letters to the Times Loo kl ng Forward Ideas for Funds Dear Castle Valley Times, Keep it coming. We always look forward to reading the latest from Castle Valley. We appreciate your generous efforts to make it happen. Also, we appreciate Jack Campbell’s discussion and comments of the issues—urgent and serious — (This letter was received by the POA in response to a requestfor ideas on how we should allocate POA Funds. As his letter was not read at the annual meeting we publish it here. We appreci- ate Eben’s ideas and willingness to participate. —Joan Sangree) October 19, 1993 Dear FDA, I understand that the use of remaining POA funds will be discussed at the October 23rd meeting and would confronting the community. Sincerely yours, Ruth Thome—Thomson Ray K.Metzger every month for 2 years to create a community forum for a_ll of us, so we can inform each other of our ideas and opinions, be it gardening tips, geology, or political issues. I know that other people’s input has always been encouraged and, so far as I know, no article submitted has ever been rejected. The staff is doing a wonderful job. This is our community paper. Let’s give the hardworking people who put it together some respect, and perhaps a little respite, and use the forum that has like to get my two cents in... already been created. —Trish Hawkins Black or White? 1) My first priority: complete well on community lot 2) Second: maintain undeveloped status of surrounding state and BLM lands by creating a legal reserve fund (about Dear CV Times, Here is an interesting quote I would like to share: “JUST AS MOST ISSUES are seldom black or white, so are most $2,000 each year) to fight upcoming good solutions seldom black or white. Beware of the solution that requires one side to be totally the loser and the other side to be totally the winner. The reason there are two sides to begin with usually is because neither side has all battles. 3) Third: fund mailing of quarterly owners (I really appreciated this last edition and plan to subscribe). 4) Balance to go to improvements in the community lot, or savings. Thanks for the opportunity to make input. Yours truly, Eben Fodor not acting from political motivation. Rather, he is acting from a deep sense of respect for the whole truth.” —Stephen R.
