At the April 7th Town Council meeting, Dean Kerkling, Castleton resident and professional land use planner, presented the Town with a set of plans suggesting structures and plantings for our Town Lot. He based his plans on ideas and preferences expressed by townspeople, as well as contour maps of the area. The design is beautiful to behold, and it is pleasant to imagine a time when it will actually take shape on the land.
