Show Page 8 Lehi Free Press Thursday, May 17, 1979 Responds To Kennedy National Health Insurance UHA Soys Earn Eagle Scout Rank were Three Lehi boys were the coveted Eagle Scout rank at Court of Honor proceedings in the Lehi North Stake. Honored Larry Tingey, Randy Russon and Craig Smith. Larry J. Tingey is 17 years old and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Darhl awarded r i " I I ' Tingey. He is the third son of the Tingey's to attain this rank. All three boys have also been named Scout of the Year during their scouting years. His brothers include David and Randy. is also A brother-in-laan Eagle Scout. Larry is a member of Troop 7 of the Seventh Ward and has served his troop as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader. He is a junior at the Lehi High School, where is active in the F.F.A. He will serve this group as Sentinel next year and this year is a member of the Poultry Judging Team. For two years he was also a member of the debate team. Randy Russon, 16, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glade Russon. He is a member of Troop 4 of the Fourth Ward. He has served his troop as Senior Patrol Leader and holds the office of Priest. He is a sophomore at the Lehi High School and for the past two years has been a member of the wrestling team. Craig Smith is 14 years old. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mearle Smith and a member of Troop 4 of the Fourth Ward. He has served as Senior Patrol Leader and Patrol Leader. He holds the office of Teacher. He is in the eighth grade at the Lehi Junior High School, where he is a member of the track team.
