When gas is pumped into your tank, be sure that the engine is turned off and that no one smokes inside your car. In many states it is illegal to fill your tank until the engine has been shut off. Do not restart the engine until the gas tank cap has been replaced and secured. Remember that in gasoline the use of special additives is not and only unnecessary wastefully expensive, but may risk your warranty coverage - with one exception.
