Mr. Gray said that the Fair was under the direction of prospective teachers from Brigham Young University. Its purpose was to assist these college students, who are in their first education classes at Heart Assn. Mr. Dunn has recovered from . heart surgery and will speak on a patient's emotions and fears and how to cope with family situations in regard to - heart illnesses. Dr. Briggs, a cardiologist, has a private practice in Provo. He teaches at the University of Utah Medical Center and will speak on prevention of heart disorders. -- the university, in meeting students in something other than a structured classroom situation. They taught the various principles of their field with the reward system, giving students an opportunity to learn a principle, thereby earning a reward. The students were divided into two teams in each department and after answering a correctly question, the student was given the opportunity to earn a point for his team through a game. The students moved from group to group so they participated in several learning experiences. Mr. Gray said that the future teachers were able to see how students respond to creative activity and also how they are motivated when competition exists.
