TO REBUILD Coach Scott Iverson Lehi Auxiliary Police Begin To Head Lehi Campaign For Neiv Ambulance Last spring, Larry Shurtliff guided the Lehi Pioneers to fourth in the State AAA spot place Tournament. Taking over the reins this year as head basketball coach is young and personable Scott Iverson. CoachShurt-liff- e The Lehi Auxiliary Police are sponsoring a fund raising drive for the purcahse of a new city ambulance. A beautiful grandfather clock will be given away to a lucky ticket holder at the drawing on December 23. Tickets will be distributed by members of the auxiliary police with a $1.00 donation. A canvas of the city will be made and citizens are asked to cooperate with this community effort. Howard Nielsen, Gary Watts Gift-o-ra- Second Graders to and Gordon Bennett are in charge of the project. The grandfather clock is a genuine antique and is valued at over $800.00. Wallace Olsen, owner of Outpost Antiques obtained the clock and donated over $200.00 toward the project. The stately and beautiful clock will be on display in the lobby of the State Bank of Lehi. The ambulance is adequate but a new one would insure better survival chances for the injured and ill people who need ambulatory ser- vice. Gleaners Fireside Sunday There will be an M Men and Gleaner Fireside this Sunday, November 19, at 7:30 p.m. which will be held at the Stake Center. Mr. and Mrs. Gray of Lehi will be the speakers. Elmo Gray is a native of Lehi. He served on a full time mission to the North Central States. Mr. and Mrs. Gray were called to the Southern states to work as division coordinators. They were there for nine years and while there, Mr. Gray started the Seminary Institute. He also worked with the Indians for three years. Mr. Gray was the South Carolina Stake Patriarch for four years. His wife, Nadine, has also been very active in church services. They will relate a lot of the experiences they had In the South.
