He was accompanied by his wife on the group tour, which included some 120 members. Adding interest to the group were representatives of the Paramount Life Insurance Company of Canada, sister con cern. Traveling by plane, they spent seven days in Acupulco and Mexi co City. They were guests at a bullfight, deep sea fishing and the spectacular "Folk Lore Bal let." They enjoyed collecting souveniors of the area, and also took pictures of the many points pf interest. Garrett. Mr. Garrett was Chapter advisor at the time the local FFA Chapter was chartered, 40 years ago. Banquet is set for Friday evening, April 23. The new metal service building will be constructed on the northeast side of their manufacturing plant and will offer installation of new appliances, repairs and exterior maintenance. The new 40 by 130 foot building will offer pace to accomodate the new service and repair center. The firm will specialise in repair work on campers and trailers and installation of sinks, stoves, plumbing fixtures and other service work on all major brands of recreational ve hicles. The new building will be planned to accomodate trailers up to 30 foot. Both replacement and repair service work will be offered as a new feature of the progressive firm. The Phillips Manufacturing Company began on a small scale eight years ago, with the firm growth rate increasing at an ever expanding pace. The plant manufactures over 400 units yearly and doubled their output in 1970. Six brothers, Bob, Phil, Ralph, Larry, Stan and Glen are associated with the firm. An open house is planned in connection with the grand opening of the new service center and details will be announced.
