Woffinden, was awarded his Eagle pin from Har- Waler 'of' the Utah National Parks Council, who congratulated him on his fine achievement. Lee has been helped a great deal by his father who is his Scoutmaster and he has enjoyed the scouting activities. Ford, 62, of El Monte, California, driver of the other .car, in the crash that occurred at an inter section near Garden Grove, California, about 25 miles south of Los-- Angeles. Lee was the driver of the'car carrying the Lehi people and died In surgery after the accident. Investigating oficers stated that Lee and his seven passengers were on their way to Disneyland for an outing for the children when the oncoming car driven by Mr. Ford suddenly swerved over the dividing line crashing into the Hard-ma- n vehicle. Mr. Ford was alone and was returning home from the Long Beach Veterans Administration Hospital where he had recently undergone surgery. It is believed that he suffered a heart attack and his car went out of control. Injured fn the accident was Mrs. Lee (Elaine) Hardman who received lacerations about the face daughand legs; her ter Jalaine who is listed in critical condition in the Palm Harbor Hospital in Garden Grove with severe internal injuries; and her son Jay Lee, 8 who received cuts and bruises. Also injured were Mrs. Milton (Cleora) Forbush, now living in Long Beach, California, who suffered a fractured skull cuts, and bruises; and her daughter, Tina, 3, received a fractured shoulder besides cuts and bruises. Mr. Gray was born August , 18, 1895 a son of William Silas and Phoebe Yates Gray in Lehi. He married Charlotte Austin of Lehi November 18, 1914 in the. Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died No i ' vember 21, 1958 .iriXehi, Mr. Gray lived in Lehi all his life and was a farmer and; dairyman until his retirement two years ago. He served as State Brand In spector in Lehi for a number of years and was a past president of the Lehi Dairy Association. A, member,, of the LDS Church, he has been active in both ward and priesthood activities.; He has; been a member of the Lehi Stake High Council for approximately 10 years. Survivors include three sons and four daughters: Elmo A. Gray, Mrs. Everett (Marie) Richins, Mrs: Lewis (Alta) Hansen, all of Lehi; Lynn H. Gray, Orem; Rex V. Gray, Kearns;; Mrs. Rod Davenport, The Dalles, Ore- -' gon; Mrs. Jack (Joyce) Phillips, Pleasant Grove; 31 grandchildren Surviv.: and one ing brothers and sisters are Melton, Arch, and Duane, all of Idaho Falls, Idaho; William of New York; and Alvin of Kearns; Mrs. Frank Baker, Mrs. Louise Hayes, both of Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Murray Hayes of California. Mrs. Viola Gray was born December 18, 1902 in. Salt Lake City; a daughter of William Steele and Martha Mary Lewis Brown- She was married to LeRoy C. Hard-ma- n March 24, 1921 in the Salt Lake Temple and they moved to Lehi a short time later to make their ,home. Mr. Hardman flied November 15, 1938. Survivors are four sons and two daughters: Isaac L. Hardman. American Fork ; Lawrence L. and Don E., both of Pleasant Grove; William F. of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Milton (Cleora) Forbush, Long Beach, California; and Mrs. Jack (LaRae) II. Tranchell of Salt Lake City; 18 grandchildren. Four sisters, and two, brothers also survive: Mrs. Martha Brown Hardman, Mm. Ivon Brown Davis, and Jarnps A.
