UTAH JTTTf t Kaye Jones, Dennis Greenwood Married at Cedar Fort Ceremony A lovely aiiair ot uie spring season at Cedar Fort was the w adding of Miss Kaye Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aldred J. Jones of American Fork, to Dennis I. Greenwood. A student at Brig-haYoung University, Mr. Greenwood is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace B. Greenwood of Union, Oregon. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph H. Smith, grandparents of the bride, was the scene of the ceremony which was performed by Bishop Harvey Smith of the Manilla Ward, April 22. A reception followed in the Cedar Fort recreation hall. The bridal party stood in the Relief Society room which was adorned by a background arrange ment of lavendar snapdragons and white carnations and white tapers A tiered in tall candelabra. wedding cake, made by Mrs. Dave Jones, was placed on a handmade lace cloth, and flanked by white tapers in silver holders Satin and lace combined in a h bridal gown for the petite brunette bride. Detailed with bouffant skirt, long pointed sleeves, tiny buttons and standup collar, it was enhanced by a fingertip length veil of nylon net. Lace trimmed, it fell from a bonnet tiara. A large purple orchid centered the bridal bouquet of high neckline with standup collar. A veil of nylon n t, edged in lace, floated to fingertip length from a tiara of pearls. White car nations with center of American Beauty roses composed the bridal bouquet. Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Venice McLane of Lehi, with Mrs. Knollin Haws and Mrs. Shirley ballerina Lydsman. They wot models with corsages of carnations and rosebuds. Small flower girls were Kathleen McLane and Dawn Mrs. i Fern Thompson, sister of the bride, as matron of honor; Miss Lorraine Spencer, sister of the groom, as maid of honor; Miss Rhonda Price, Colleen Slater, Marilyn Colledge, Connie Kirk-haand Alta Mae Hardman stood as attendants. Gowned in pastel shades, they held bouquets of lavendar and white carnations. Shannon Hatt, a niece, was the diminuitive flower girL The mothers of both bride and groom wore blue with vanda irchid corsages. Rel Brown stood as best man for his friend. Receiving at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hatt, uncle and aunt of the bride. Miss Deon Curtis cared for the guest book. Mrs. Lena Peterson played a background of piano music while the guests were m gathering. Miss Carma Spencer, Gladys Leora Jacobsen and Jacobsen, Glenna Gray cared for the gifts which' were carried by Gaylene Curtis, Nancy Rolfe and Michael Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Jacob-se- n were in charge of refreshments which were served by Carma Bristol, Linda Barnhart, Vonda Lee Curtis and Diane Price, Roger Honeymoon served as master of ceremonies for the program which included songs by the Spencer brothers, uncles of the groom. Evan Madsen, also an uncle of the groom, sang. Vocal selections by Miss Rhonda Price were accompanied by Miss Colleen Slater. Miss Rae Adamson furnished original musical readings. Readings by Ruth Wanlass and Warren Casper, and dancing by Naomi and Opal Colledge, made up the program. The newlyweds are making their home in American Fork for the present. The new Mrs. Spencer is continuing her schooling at Lehi high school and will graduate in May. i . '- v . dC9T?-- Stalworthy. Clayton Glenn was best man and Richard Westenskow ushered. Both were here from Oregon. Standing with the groom in receiving were his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alan C Jacobsen of Salt Lake City.. The bride's mother wore black and white with rosebud corsage. Mrs. Jacobsen, in brown and white, wore a corsage of carnations. Mrs. Margaret Danielson cared for the guest book. Mrs. Dean Bird and Mrs. Darlene Clements arranged the gifts and Mrs. Haws was in charge of refreshments. Linda and Lida Miller, Judy Kay Phillips, Kay Jones and Phyllis McDaniel served. Sam Wilcox was master of ceremonies for the program, followed by dancing to the Swing Kings orchestra. Following a honeymoon trip for which the bride wore a navy suit with pink accessories, the couple are living in American Fork.
