Show 1.m FREE THURSDAY, APBIL 14. 1955 Mrs. New Earl Webb (Continued from Front Face) our crowded schools will soon come even more crowded, he bede- clared. Although Geneva Steel pays a large part of the bill, without Geneva we would not have the growth, so one offsets the other, he pointed out. Out of each tax dollar, Geneva pays 49 cents, City lots and improvements 16 cents, public utilities 16 cents, machinery and motor vehicles 8 cents, merchandise and trade 2 cents, livestock one cent, and farms and grazing lands 8 cents. The proposed bond issue would be used to complete Orem High School and build three new high schools, one each in Lehl, Pleasant Grove and American Fork. Supt. Burton said the bond issue itself would not be enough to build all the schools, but with anticipated building aid from the state, the School Board felt the building program could be accomplished. The Superintendent declared that the Board has not decided in what order the schools will be built, but rather decided to wait until after the bond election before setting up a building WANTED 2 girls to work during week days.
