A summer school seminar class, "Natural History Workshop in Conservation" will be offered a limited number of teachers of the state this summer at the Univer sity of Utah, it is announced by the Lehi Wildlife Association. The course is a d project of the Utah Wildlife Federation, and teachers accepted for the course will have their tuition paid jointly by the Utah and National Wildlife Federations. Primarily the course is to train teachers in teaching conservation subjects on the elementary, junior high and senior high school levels. Membership in the course will be limited to 25 students. Conducted in the form of a seminar, the class will be conducted for a four week period, five days per week, with the class running four hours in the morning and four hours in the afternoon each day. It is scheduled to begin with the regular summer quarter in June, and will be taught by Stanley B. Mulaik of the University of Utah Biology Department. College credit will be given. She had spent the winter with her daughter, Barta Jones Haslam, now living in Pasadena. Coach Cranmer, who himself was a prominent track man at Brigham Young University for three years, reports that 67 boys, including a large number of sophomores, have reported for track. There is a particularly good spirit among the boys, and they are showing plenty of interest, he declared. Last Friday Coach Cranmer took 51 boys to a triangle meet with Pleasant Grove and Jordan High at Jordan, and his boys placed second in total points. Plesasant Grove racked up 39 points," Lehi 61, and Jordan 104. Tomorrow (Friday) the Pioneers will enter a practice meet with Lincoln in Orem, and in future weeks will participate in five major meets including Alpine Day.
