Sponsored by the Utah Society for the Physically Handicapped, this campaign has as its theme for this year, appropriately Easter, "Be a Good Egg, Buy Easter Seals, Help Crippled Children." An open house was celebrated on March 15 at the modern new quarters and treatment center of the Society at 165 Motor Avenue, in Salt Lake City. Nearly 2,000 guests attended to inspect the facilities for care and treatment of crippled youngsters in the state. Maurice Warshaw, President of the Society, stated that this year's campaign as in the past will consist primarily of a direct mail appeal, with over 155,000 letters and Easter seals going to every home in the state. More funds are needed this year than ever before, he said, to care for increasing numbers of afflicted children.
