Show BINGHAM'S 4TH PROGRAM GIVEN Children's events feature this year's annual Fourth of July celebration cele-bration sponsored by the Bingham Volunteer Fire Department report Shirt Scroggin, general chairman. Funds for the celebration are derived de-rived from the Bingham Diatrict Activity Fund. All events on the program take place on the 4th (tomorrow) starting start-ing with the children's races to be staged at the Bingham Central School grounds beginning at 10:00 a.m. Races and contests will Include shoe scramble, three legged race, pie eating, watermelon eating and combination shoe scramble and cash prizes will be awarded. There will be a free- children's show at 12:30 p.m. at Princes Theatre showing "The Lone Ranger". Ran-ger". Next will be kiddie dance and treat at 3 pm. at the Civic Center. At 4 o'clock, Copperton will be the scene of Softball game between be-tween the Fire Dept. and Copper-ton. Copper-ton. Hugo Bianchi is the Bingham team manager and Louis Arritola the Copperton team manager. Concluding the day's event will be the fireworks display at 9:15 p.m. t be staged at the Lower Bingham playground. Working with Mr. Scroggin on the Fourth committee are Wally Swenson, Bill Hennings, Robert King, and Evan Miller who is in charge of the softball game, also Joe and Sam Dispenza and Ross M. Cushing who will handle the fireworks. |
