Show UTAH COPPER FIELD DAY HELD AT LAGOON LAST FRIDAY An attractive brunette from Salt Lake City was judged winner of the annual bathing beauty contest at Utah Copper Field Day Friday. Picked from a field of nine contestants, con-testants, Pamela Cromar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray E. Cromar of : I 770 Moordale Lana, Salt Lake City was awarded the bathing beauty trophy and $35 in cash by 1. K. Hearn, assistant general managet of Utah Copper Division. The annual outing for employees cf the Division and their families x saw an estimated 26,000 persons spend a day of fun at Lagoon, popular pop-ular Farmington resort. Selected as second and third ' place winners respectively by Judg-' es were: Diane Tibolla, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Tibolla of 217 West, 6400 South. Murray, and Betty Roberts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Roberts of 2773 Ward way Dr., Salt Lake City. M'.sa Cromar represented the Salt Lake office; Miss Tibolla the mine at Bingham Canyon and Miss Roberts the refinery. Miss Tibolla and Miss Roberts received $30 and $25 in prize money respectively. Special guests at the outing were 102 retired employee who gathered gather-ed at the Rose terrace for a visit and free refreshments. Other events 'during he day included competitive competi-tive games for employees and their families, a Little League baseball game and an inter-plant first aid I contest won by the Bingham Canyon Can-yon mine team headed by Ross S.
