Show Chronicle - Page Thirteen Wednesday, February 22, 1989 -- union gallery from page twelve Sang Y. Park's "Vette 66" is one of the 'catchier pieces on display. Using the airbrush, Park heavily paints the front end of of a 1966 Corvette in all its chrome, glass and glory. While seeming not to intend the precision of the super realists, Parks is wet-pai- ous and Miles' objective successful. As a tribute to, or perhaps a mocking of, the recently deceased surrealist Salvador Dali, Andrew Ledbetter paints 'The Fall of Dali." The picture, reminiscent of Dali's "Soft Construction with Boiled Beans," features the grimacing head of Dali in one nt of his own haunting, undoubtedly, and with much success, art trying his hand at movement committed to copying the specificity and detail of the photograph. Chris Miles' work "Piece For Chair dream-lik- e land- scape environments. Student tickets a mere $4. UtmSymphony The Associated Students of the University of Utah is proud to welcome American poet AHen Ginsberg on Wednesday, February 22, at 12 noon in the Union Ballroom. Ginsberg's Poem "Howl" made him famous as a leader of the beat generation during the '50s. His association and activities with Jack Kerouac, William S. Burroughs, Neal Cassady, Dr. Timothy Leary, Bob Dylan, Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters made him an important figure during the '60s. Ginsberg has won numerous literary awards including The Guggenheim Fellowship, National Institute of Arts and Letters Grant for poetry. He is recognized as one of America's great contemporary poets.
