He was a ward clerk in the Tremonton First Ward, and served eight years in the South Bear River Stake. He had served six years as financial clerk in the Sugar-hous- e Ward in Salt Lake City and four years as high priest in Brigham City until the time of his death. He had been employed for 12 years as office manager for J. D. Harris Co. in Tremonton. He later operated the record and gift shop D. there. He was a member of the of complications following surgery. He was born July 4, 1954, in Tremonton, the son of Robert Leland and Cleon Smith Foxley. He married Colleen Hosk-in- s on April 7, 1971 in Roy. They were later divorced. He was a laborer in a construction business. He had lived in Tremonton, Roy and Subset. He attended Roy High School, had served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include one son, Kurt; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland (Lee) Foxley of Farr West; two brothers, Robert W. of Ogden and David L. of Logan and Mrs. George (Linda) Berkley, Jr., Copperas Cove, Tex. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home, 205 S. 1st E., Brigham City where friends may call on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, one hour prior to Mrs. Eva Diantha Brough services. She was born Nov. 29, 1888 at Spring City, Utah, a daughter of George William and Jane Elizabeth Crow-fort- h Brough. She was married to Amos Peter Hansen on Nov. 24, 1909 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 26, 1968. DARRYL GORDON ADAMS Darryl Gordon Adams, 19, of Fielding, was found dead Thursday, June 2, 1977, in his Salt Lake City apartment of complications from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was born March 12, 1958, in Ogden, a son of DeVere K. and Janet Meryle Gordon Adams. He attended Bear River High School and was a Priest and a Life Scout in the Fielding LDS Ward. Surviving are his parents of Fielding; one brother and one sister, Douglas Earl Adams and Miss Jana Dee Adams, both of Fielding; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Adams, Fielding; Mr. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Tremonton Camp. She was the first PTA president in the Elwood School and was Northern Utah's Mother of the Year in 1955. She was a member of Elwood Ward and had served a Gulf States mission from 1962 to 1963. She had served as Relief Society President, YWMIA president and had been a member of the Sunday School, religion class and Relief Society Stake Boards in the Bear River Stake. Surviving are a son and two daughters, Amos Boyd Hansen, Bountiful; Mrs. Howard (Ada) Shurtz, Hillsborough, Calif.; Mrs. Ray (Adrus) Kimball of Littleton, Colo.; 20 grandchildren and one 22 great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Vera B. Kroksh, Logan. Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 6, at the Elwood Chapel. Bishop A. C. Christensen officiated. Burial was in the Bear River City Cemetery. and Mrs. Earl Gordon, Smithfield. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Fielding LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Richard N. Petersen conducting. Burial was in the Fielding Cemetery. BURKE L. GEPHART Burke L. Gephart, 58, of South Pasadena, formerly of Tremonton, died Thursday in Los Angeles after a lingering illness. Mr. Gephart was born Sept. 10, 1918, in Salt Lake City, a son of Fred C. and Louise Newman Gephart. He was married to Helen Cotter on Aug. 12, 1942, in Salt Lake City. He was a structural engineer. He was a graduate of the Southern California Military Academy in Long Beach, Westminster College in Salt Lake City and the University of Colorado at Boulder. ft GEORGE ERNEST GENT George Ernest Gent, 81, of 5th E., Brigham City, formerly of Tremonton, died on June 7 at his home of a stroke. He was born Jan. 22, 1896 in Leicester, England. He was a son of George Albert and Emma Louisa Grace Gent. He married Margaret Emma Wood on April 6, 1918 in Leicester, England. Their marriage was later solemnized on June 1, 1950 in the Logan LDS Temple. She died April 18, 1967 in Salt Lake City. He married Mrs. Lois Lloyd Hubbard on June 29, 1973 in the Ogden LDS Temple. Mr. and Mrs. LaRon Udy, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Udy and Mr. Fred Coombs attended the Lawrence Welk Show Friday evening at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Rosel Zundel spent Friday visiting, with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schenk in Roy. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Welling entertained at a family dinner party at their home on Friday honoring their daughter, Debbie, and her fiance, Gary Cleland of Pima Ariz. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Todd Peterson and family of Newton, Russell Peterson and Todd Maugh-- Mr. and Mrs. Val Dee Gibbs were in the spotlight Sunday as Mr. Gibbs blessed their infant son, Colby Dee. Gibbs of Portage, and great grandmother, Mrs. Loretta Starr and John Starrjof Plymouth, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil C. Harris and Mrs. Phoebe Henrie of Tremonton went to Salt Lake City on Sunday where they enjoyed the day with Mr. and Mrs. Phil Harris. They attended Sunday.
