Young Troy Fonnesbeck learned this week that he has been named the second-plac- e winner nationally in the Fisher-Pric- e "Sunny Faces" photo festival. The honor carries with it a $100 savings bond. Troy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Fonnesbeck of seven-year-ol- , 3 Special Howell. Mrs. Fonnesbeck submitted a school photo of her son who was a second grader at the Howell School. "I read about it (the contest) in TV guide," she said. Young Troy is a bit embarrassed about the publicity his face has attracted. Fisher-Pric- e has asked him to sign a release which would allow them to use the photo commercially. Officer Gains Honor Police Officer Ray Bentley has been selected as the West Valley Area "Officer of the Month" for May 1977. of Mr. Bentley, and Mrs. Merrill Hards of Garland, and husband of former Marilyn Hards, was honored by the Optimist Club of Encino and was presented a plaque during their luncheon meeting. Officer Bentley was selected to receive this award for his outstanding performance and dedication as a Los Angeles Police Officer. Officer Bentley's current assignment is that of youth services with the West Valley Area Community Relations Office. Another responsibility of Officer Bentley is coordinating West Valley Areas 's Reserve Officer Program. In addition to managing the Area's 24 reserve officers, his recent recruitment eff- son-in-la- clinics have been held in many areas of the state. The clinics will provide a pelvic examination, pap smear, breast examination and health education. Remember Cervical Cancer Clinids, The Bear River District Health Department has issued a reminder of two cervical cancer screening clinics for women slated for June 13 and 14. The first will be held in Bear River City at the LDS Church. The second will be held in Tremonton at the Bear River Junior High School. Time for both is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Women 20 years old and older are eligible to attend the free clinics. The clinics are not intended for women who have had recent pap smears.
