Show day. Mr. Gibbs visited Virgil and Mrs. Tasman of Moreland, Idaho, with Mr. and Mrs. C. Harris Saturday. Several from our community attended the viewing at Rogers Mortuary in Tremon-to- n and the funeral services, which were held in the Bel.-nioWard chapel for DeLos Jensen of Riverside. We express our sympathy to the family and friends of these three people. Mr. and Mrs. J. Harris attended funeral services for Voyal Harris at Rigby, Idaho, Tuesday. They were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Moore of Idaho Falls. They returned home Wednesday. The Gibbs family organization committee met at the home of Mrs. Thelma D. Gibbs Saturday. Among the committee members attending the meeting were President Douglas J. Gibbs, Mr. and Mrs. Tasman Gibbs of Moreland, Idaho, Mrs. Alma Harris of Salt Lake City and iful and Mrs. David P. Gibbs. Mrs. Thelma Gibbs served light refreshments following the meeting. Mrs. Reed Nielsen attended the Ogden Temple Saturday where Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Glasmann daughters were married and sealed together. Later Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielsen were among other family members who were guests at a breakfast at the Mansion House. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Thomas and Mrs. Laura Gibbs visited in Brig-haCity with Mr. and Mrs. Dale Thomas and family and m Garland Way Bridge Club Meets By Mary Ann Maughan Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hall were visited by Mrs. Olive Fifield, and Mrs. Helen Weston and her baby last Sunday. They were also present for dinner. Thursday Mrs. Hall and her five daughters, Rona Richardson, Betty Jensen, and daughter, Kendra of Bountiful, enjoyed dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Evans Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hodges and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hodges celebrated Mrs. Milton Hodges birthday with dinner at the home of Kenneth Rose, May 12. Mrs. Hodges received a phone call on her birthday from her son, Robert, in California. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Richards and children, Brent and Gloria, visited in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Jay Curtis. Bonnie Theurer, Gail Jensen, Connie Parsons and Sheryl Davis went to Mad-do- x to celebrate her birth day. Mrs. Larry Butler's Kittie Kollege had a pet day Wednesday. All the children were invited to bring a pet from home and tell how they care for it. Friday for their final day the school will put on a program, at which time they will demonstrate some of the things they have learned and there will also be some musical numbers. After the program the children and their parents will head to Willow with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Shaw and family. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Haskins were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Len-ar- d Haskins and son, Todd, in their new home in South Ogden. Among those attending the viewing and funeral for Mab-l- e Conley in Ogden Friday night and Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Ora H. John, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Haskins, Mr. and Mrs. James John and Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Haskins. Burial was in the Portage cemetary and Ora H. John offered the dedica-toria- l prayer. Word was received Friday of the death of Taft Hall Friday. He was 68 years old and died in Sunny Vale, California of a heart attack. He was the son of George E. and Rosabel Warren Hall. He married Anne Evans and was the father of four children, Rose Mary, Beverely, Kathy and Barry, all living in various places in California. He has 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a second wife Kunokoff, two sisters, Arlene Cook and Dorothy Cannon all of California. One brother Wendell Hall of Portage. Funeral services and burial was in Palo Alto, California Mon- - -- Park. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Funk spent Monday in Salt Lake on business andthey also visited the sick. Saturday they enjoyed the afternoon in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Jensen enjoyed the company of Richard and Carol Jensen and their children Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jensen attended a UEA convention at Bottle Hollow in Roosevelt. They enjoyed a raft trip down the Green River and also a visit to the Dina-sou- r Quary. Mr. and Mrs. V.W. Johns visited with Mr. and Mrs. Alma W. King Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Stewart from Hammett, Idaho visited with Mrs. Stewart's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis E. Johnson Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. George Kir-b- y are traveling to Lima, Montana Friday for Mrs. Kirby's granddaughters graduation. Mrs. Joseph Morris and Mrs. Thayne Hupp and daughters, of Hansel Valley, visited Mrs. James W. Yar-ma- n and family in Clearfield Thursday. Mrs. Yarman has been ill, but is some what improved now.
