The Elders Quorum of Honeyville would like to extend an invitation to ward members to come to their dinner dance planned for Saturday, Dec. 18. Dinner will be served from 7:30 p.m., after which the entire ward is invited to attend the dance which will start at 9 p.m. Music for the dance will be provided by the "Rainbow Wranglers". The Honeyville School seems to be having a lot of activities planned for the student body this holiday ' " season. On Dec. 9 the 4th, 5th and 6th grades traveled to Bear River High School to see that school's Children's Theater Christmas production. On the 17th of this month the school will show their Christmas movies. Presented to the students will be "Beaver Valley", a Disney film and "Day Dreamer", a story of Hans Christian Anderson. On Dec. 21 a Christmas program will be presented by the Kindergarten through the third grade children. The presentation will take place at 12:30 p.m. and all parents are invited to be there. Word has it that Santa plans on making a stop at the school for the performance only. Christmas will be here before you know it. These last few days are filled with finding that special gift for Uncle Leo, those gifts the and kids have found already. Even with all the hurrying and the worrying, the looking and the cooking, Christmastime is still my favorite time of the year. The Honeyville Ward recently hosted a holiday party for the Brigham City North Stake Presidency and the Bishoprics. The evening consisted of a loyely turkey dinner after which a program was presented to the guests. Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Nelson are proud to. announce the arrival of their new family member. The new arrival, a little girl, was born last week and seems to like being part of the Nelson household. The proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Nelson. This was a special service project the girls completed and they deserve to be recognized for doing such a worthy project. Word came this Tuesday of the passing of a former Deweyville resident, Mrs. Frank Germer, who has made her home in Long Beach, Calif, for the past few years. Aunt Lizzie had been in failing health for the past several years. candy did equally well. There were many lovely handmade articles for sale and it helped many a shopper to find that certain special item for someone on their shopping list. Henry Marble was taken to McKay-De- e Hospital last week for surgery. At this writing he is doing as well as can be expected. Miss Vicky Litchford flew off into the wild blue yonder last Saturday afternoon, via Western Airline, for a stay of a week or so in San Diego, Calif. She will be with her sister, Mrs. Dale Meservy, and family there for visiting and fun in the good warm sun. Miss Jean Gardner was birthday girl at a party last Saturday evening.
