The clinic is free- - to all plpmpntarvJ anH nrochnnl f vgu- ichildren. Children from 4 to 6 years of age are in a period of rapid eye development. If one eye is unequal in its central vision ability, amblyopia may develop. Free Legal Service Set The Department of Social Services Office of Community Operations and the Bear River Association of Governments recently announced the onset of a free legal service for low income persons and families. The service is now available to eligible residents in Box Elder, Cache, and Rich Counties. Funding is made available for this program by use of Title XX money designated to be used according to local social service plann- Amblyopia develops gradually but is easily corrected if discovered early enough. Children should be tested annually for the disease starting at xk or 4 years of age. The "Lazy Eye" test can detect any of several visual problems. The hog went on to win Reserve Champion honors in the show and was purchased by Utah County Commissioner, Lukas Inoye for $1.20 per pound. Kevin Bourne, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Bourne, 217-pou- Garland, exhibited blue ribbon hogs. Kevin won second place in the fitting and showmanship contest. Reed Stokes, Bret Earl and Archie Tanaka showed fat beef, while Gary Burton exhibited fat and breeding sheep. Gary won third place honors in fitting and showmanship. All exhibitors attended the fair on Tuesday, Sept. 14. According to Chapter advisor, Robert Jensen, this year's showing by the Bear River Chapter was one of the best in recent years.
