Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Udy were Mrs. Arnold Lamb and family of Plymouth, Mr. and Mrs. DeLos Udy of Riverside and Beverly Roybal of Elko, Nevada. Marvin John and sons returned to their home in Green River, Utah after spending the week with Marvin's parents, Mr. and "Mrs. Wynn John. Mrs. Wynn John was a guest of her mother, Leana Williams, in Malad Monday at the 4th Ward Relief Society mother-daughtparty. The day was enjoyed with s, a delicious luncheon, program and style review of dresses made by mothers and daughters. Portcge Way Local Alan Injures Hand Working On Hay Bailor BY I LA MAE William L. Gibbs returned to his home Saturday from the Bear River Valley Hospital where he had been treated for injuries to his hand, which he received while working on his hay bailer. He was hospitalized from Wednesday until Saturday. Gibbs Allen fell from the , hay wagon into the loader where he suffered cuts and bruises on his back and two broken ribs. All are happy these injuries were not more serious and we do wish them both a speedy recover. We are happy to report Ralph Howell is improving from his serious condition in the Logan Hospital and Glen Morris is gaining as much as possible from his back surgery. He will be in the University Hospital for eight weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Udy spent Friday night and Saturday at the University Hospital in Salt Lake to be with Mrs. Udy's father, Farrell Williams of St. John, Idaho. Mr. Williams suffered a oke. ; Roger Hall returned to his i home in San Francisco Tues-- i visit with day after a his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell C. Hall. They returned home Saturday. Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs Allen took their granddaughter, Lisa Larson, to Boise, Idaho where they met Lisa's mother, Rochelle and a friend, Maxine Noor. Lisa returned to her home in Enterprise, Oregon with her mother after enjoying the past month with her grandparents in Portage. Another granddaughter, Lo-r- i, accompanied the .Aliens;" 7' to Boise. Her granddaughter, Sharon, is staying with Mrs. Howell until Ralph can return home from the Logan Hospital. Mrs. Glen Morris came home Monday from Salt Lake where she has been the past ten days with her husband in the University Hospital. She took care of needed business and returned to Salt Lake Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nielsen moved from our community Saturday. Their new home is in Garland. We wish you happiness in your new home, Ray and June.
