The population continued to increase in our community, last week. Although we can't officially claim one of the new little arrivals, the happy grandparents want it that their famines gained a member. A hefty 8 known pound eleven ounce boy was born to Joe and Karen Norr knudsen, February 24, down Salt Lake City way. They had an excited little sister and big brother to welcome his arrival home. Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Foote, of Salt Lake City, as great grandparents. In case you thought there were earthquake tremors last Thursday night, it could very well have been vibrations from the dance being enjoyed by Elders and their partners in the cultural hall. Music to suit every age and taste was ably provided by Warner Stoddard and his The Rainbow Wranglers. young drummer gave one of the most professional displays of talent we had even heard and the good voices of Geo Barrus and Warner were mighty good listening. The music reached the ears of some of the younger ward members and it wasn't long before they came into the hall and showed us "old folk" how it was really done. It was a most enjoyable evening and the efforts of Curt and DaNeel Norr and, Jim and Carleen Poulsen are to be commended. The outstanding art of Trudy Thompson was greatly appreciated. The parties given by the Elders this past year-havbeen most remarkable. Each one has been so diM ferent and provided such good entertainment for everyone attending.
